JENREX (Esomeprazole) is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by specifically inhibiting the $H^+/K^+$-ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells. By blocking the final step in acid production, it effectively reduces gastric acidity. The medication is formulated as enteric-coated pellets to protect the acid-labile Esomeprazole until it reaches the appropriate site for absorption.

INDICATIONS:
JENREX is indicated for:
The treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
Healing of Erosive Esophagitis.
Relief of heartburn and other symptoms associated with GERD.
In combination with Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin (Triple Therapy) for the treatment of H. pylori infection and to eradicate Duodenal Ulcer disease.
